WISE students and staff celebrated Principal’s Day by recognizing the leadership and dedication of Mr. Johnson, whose daily efforts help make the school an EPIC place to learn and grow.
Each morning, Mr. Johnson begins his day by walking throughout campus to greet students and staff with a friendly “good morning,” helping create a welcoming and positive environment for everyone. At the end of the day, he can once again be found outside at dismissal, wishing students well as they head home.
From supporting staff to encouraging students, Mr. Johnson’s commitment to the WISE community is seen in the little things he does each and every day. His leadership, positivity, and dedication continue to make a lasting impact across campus.
WISE is grateful for all Mr. Johnson does to make the school such a special place. Happy Principal’s Day, Mr. Johnson!
And according to one pre-k student, today is also “the day you make teachers eat their vegetables!”

Not all heroes wear capes, some wear gloves and hair nets!
Behind every successful school day is a cafeteria crew working hard to make sure students are fed, cared for, and ready to learn. A special shoutout goes to Ms. Ludlow and her incredible team for the dedication, kindness, and energy they bring each and every day. From early mornings to busy lunch periods, this team keeps students happy with warm meals and welcoming smiles.
Thank you for everything you do for our school family. You all are truly EPIC!

Happy Nurse’s Day to someone who does so much more than hand out bandages and check temperatures. At WISE, Nurse Allie is known for the compassion, comfort, and care she brings to students and staff every single day.
From offering hugs and stickers after a tough moment to being a listening ear when someone simply needs support, she creates a safe and caring environment for everyone who walks through her door. She works closely with families, making sure parents are informed and students receive the care they need throughout the school day.
Nurse Allie’s kindness, patience, and dedication make a lasting impact on our school community. Team WISE is incredibly grateful for all she does to support and care for our students and staff.
Thank you, Nurse Allie, for the heart you bring to WISE each and every day!

Nonie’s Ark is always a favorite memory for our pre-k students! Our students got a hands on experience learning about a variety of animals and getting to physically hold them in their hands. They were so brave in trying new things, maybe even a little bit more brave than some of the teachers! Nonie taught the kids about each animal by how to listen for their sounds, spot their characteristics, and learn about their habitats. Be sure to ask your pre-k student about Nonie’s Ark!
HUGE thank you to the Walton Education Foundation for allowing us to write grants in order to create these experiences for our students and to Nonie’s Ark for coming to visit us this week!

Our students have been working hard, using their time wisely, and earning ROOMS merits for the qualities that lead to success. To keep our 4th–12th grade Merit Shop stocked, we’re asking for donations of prepackaged snacks and drinks.
Students use their merits to shop each Friday, and your support helps keep them motivated, especially as referrals have dropped by 70% thanks to ROOMS!
You can drop off donations at the WISE Center front office Monday–Friday, 8 AM–2 PM.
Thank you for helping us lift up our kids and celebrate their hard work!
