Mrs. Taylor has worked in public education for 23 years. She began her career as a reading and social studies teacher, and later became certified in English. 

After serving as a classroom teacher, Mrs. Taylor spent 5 years working with students as a literacy coach. That is when she realized her passion was to serve students as a school counselor. Obtaining her master's degree from Troy University allowed Mrs. Taylor to become a high school guidance counselor. When she is not helping students during the school day, Mrs. Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, and swimming.
