The WISE Center is calling on the community to help support its growing Merit Shop, a key part of the school’s ROOMS behavior program. As students in grades 4–12 consistently show positive choices and use their time wisely, they earn merits that can be redeemed for snacks and drinks each Friday.
This incentive system has played a major role in improving school culture, contributing to a remarkable 70% reduction in referrals. To keep the momentum going, the WISE Center is seeking donations of prepackaged snacks and drinks for students to purchase with their hard-earned merits.
Donations can be dropped off at the WISE Center front office Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 2 PM. Staff members say community support makes a meaningful difference in recognizing students’ efforts and encouraging continued success.
