Twice a year, ECTC organizes a blood donation on campus—in the fall and spring!

The Big Red Bus was able to gather 15 amazing pints of blood this week, which will greatly assist people in need and help to save lives.

The blood drive in the spring generated 27 units. With every donation saving up to three lives, 81 patients could gain from the efforts of life-saving blood donors at Emerald Coast Technical College. Usually, 48 to 72 hours later, the blood donated at a blood drive will be transferred into a patient. Fast and constant is the turnaround; hence, we inspire everyone to donate!

Among the September employees on the Big Red Bus was Peyton, one of our former phlebotomy graduates under Mrs. Deana Majors!

Working with the Big Red Bus and carrying on this service excites us since it helps us to fulfill our shared goal of improving the quality of life of people in need.
